“I love when the kids come into the school first thing in the morning. I love the energy, excitement, and hugs they bring with them. I love seeing their smiles, hearing their stories, and welcoming them into my classroom.”
Lead Teacher, 4 year old class
After earning her accounting degree at SUNY Geneseo, Beth embarked on her first career as an auditor. Along the way, she discovered the business world didn’t suit her. She had always loved children and longed to devote her time to helping them develop socially and emotionally. Beth earned her Masters of Education in Counseling from Boston University, and worked as an elementary school counselor before joining Hollis Preschool in 2012. After sending her own two children through Hollis Preschool, she fell in love with the school and was thrilled to become part of the staff as a teacher. Known for having a fun and welcoming classroom, she is skilled at identifying each child’s spark and giving them what they need to help it shine even brighter. By nurturing their individuality and never forcing them into a box, she is dedicated to helping them grow and learn.
Beth lives in Brookline with her husband, two children, and two adorable fluffy dogs. She loves reading, travel, and musical theater.
